Statement of Professional Intent

I plan to gain a Bachelors of the Arts in Studio Art with a concentration in drawing and painting. I am still in a stage of personal exploration. In my work, I explore the themes of life's journey and the beauty and strength of nature, both human and beast. I am currently experimenting with the use of color and texture. I chose to go into art because I feel creativity is important to the mind, and to the development of good character. I hope by sharing my talent and insight, I will open up people's minds to both the enjoyment and acceptance of the arts.
